In the coming years KevlinX will invest, supported by one of the largest infrastructure investors in the world, in building a platform of data centers across Europe. The first project is currently being realized in Brussels, Belgium. With a rapidly growing, international team of professionals, a strong company is being formed. Within this dynamic, this role is designated for a professional capable of (further) establishing Accounting and Financial Control. The Head of Accounting & Financial Control is responsible for executing all accounting & financial control activities. With the expected further growth of KevlinX, you will form and lead the new team. The job you start today will be significantly different in a year as you will be the (ultimate) responsible for accounting, reporting and various (ad hoc) financial issues.

Primary Responsibilities

  • Record Keeping: Maintaining accurate, uniform, and detailed financial accounting for all KevlinX entities (currently three companies and two foundations), including payroll
  • Invoicing: Responsible for invoicing and accounts receivable management from 2025 (KevlinX is currently in the pre-revenue phase)
  • Reporting & Dashboarding: Ensuring correct and timely delivery of monthly figures, consolidation, and analysis of financial results, preparing periodic reports for stakeholders (management, board, investors)
  • Process Optimization: Initiating and implementing improvement projects, harmonizing accounting and control cycles
  • Setting up administrations for new organizations
    • Budgeting & Forecasting: Co-preparing the annual budget and setting up a forecast tool
    • Team Leadership: Eventually responsible for building and managing a team


  • A completed financial or business economics education at HBO or WO level, possibly additional an AA or RA education
  • A strong base as accounting professional, possibly also as a Financial Controller, with experience in data centers or within IT infrastructure being of great value
  • Able to master complex accounting issues and grow with the organization
  • Detail-oriented, wants to know all the ins and outs, very accurate without losing sight of the big picture
  • Highly independent, entrepreneurial, results oriented
  • Accurate and structured, combined with a hands-on and proactive mentality
  • Excellent communication skills in English and preferably also in Dutch


KevlinX is a scale-up organization investing in construction of data centers. In the coming years, significant investments will be made in several international projects, increasing data center capacity in multiple European countries. There are two PE investors, including one of the largest infrastructure investors in the world, backing this interesting, future-oriented organization. Currently, KevlinX employs 14 people across 3 countries. The company is expected to grow significantly in headcount and revenue in the coming years, leading to increasing complexity. The recruited person will grow in every aspect.
