Remuneration & highlights
- Competitive base salary around €120,000 per annum (gross, incl. holiday allowance)

Position & Responsibilities
As a Senior Plant Controller you will hold full financial accountability for multiple production sites in the South (and East) of the Netherlands. You will ensure strong financial governance and performance improvement, acting as both a strategic advisor and hands-on finance leader. You will manage and coach a small team of (junior) controllers and collaborate closely with international stakeholders to enhance financial transparency and operational results
Key responsabilities:
- Lead, mentor and support two site controllers across the plant network
- Perform cost price calculations, forecasting and budgeting
- Deliver variance analyses and performance reporting
- Monitor and govern CAPEX investments, including ROI analysis and project tracking
- Provide financial insights throughout the end-to-end production process (from purchase of ingredients to delivery to customer or distribution centre)
- Ensure full cost control for materials, manufacturing and inventory
- Develop and maintain the factory scorecard and performance dashboards
- Evaluate investment returns (ROI) for capital projects
- Safeguard plant performance reporting and compliance with international financial standards
- Act as key business partner to plant and regional leadership on business development, cost saving and performance improvement initiatives
Profile
- A completed degree in business economics, finance, accounting or related field (HBO/WO level or equivalent)
- Demonstrable experience in plant or factory controlling
- Strong analytical skills, data-driven mindset and focus on business impact
- A hands-on, proactive approach and comfort in dynamic manufacturing environments
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to engage with stakeholders at all levels
- The ability to drive change, present insights clearly and build alignment
